Neon Mtn is a production based company focused on impactful storytelling. They create videos for legacy brands and non-profits from branded content to documentaries. The concept for Neon Mtn Media’s branding encapsulates the fresh modern approach this company takes with each project.

This design process focused on creating a clean mark that showcases an “N” and “M” of Neon Mountain all while including an abstract mountain silhouette. The color blocks represent the skyline, with a retro approach. This client was inspired by the 1980’s aesthetic and vibrant, neon colors, and it was important to have a reversed out, yet full color logo to make the logo feel illuminated like a neon sign.

The mostly warm color scheme in this concept were influenced by bright neon 80’s aesthetic. Lemon yellow and tangerine orange communicate creativity, happiness, energy and positivity. Magenta color communicates energy, nonconformity and new ideas. Cyan is vibrant and communicates self-awareness, initiative, and has a calming effect against the warm colors.
